    Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Hassan II Mosque

    Arrive in Casablanca, where your driver welcomes you and transfers you to your hotel. If time allows, visit the vast Hassan II Mosque, which stands on the Atlantic shore. Overnight in Casablanca.

    Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

    Drive from Casablanca to Rabat for the capital’s highlights, then continue north into the Rif Mountains to the blue-washed town of Chefchaouen. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

    Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

    Travel south to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then visit the imperial city of Meknes with its monumental gates before continuing to Fes for the night.

    Day 4: Fes City Tour with a Local Guide

    Spend the day exploring Fes with a local guide. Wander the medieval medina of Fes el-Bali, visit the Al-Qarawiyyin university, the Bou Inania Madrasa and the famous tanneries, and discover the craft workshops of one of the world’s great old cities. Overnight in Fes.

    Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

    Head south through the Middle Atlas, stopping in the alpine town of Ifrane and the cedar forest near Azrou, home to Barbary macaques. Follow the palm-lined Ziz Valley to Merzouga, then ride a camel into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset, dinner and a night in a desert camp with Berber music.

    Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

    After sunrise over the dunes and breakfast, travel via Rissani and the dramatic Todra Gorge, with its towering canyon walls, to the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay among its rock formations.

    Day 7: Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

    Drive through the Valley of Roses to Ouarzazate and the UNESCO kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a film-famous fortified village, then cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass to Marrakech. Overnight in Marrakech.

    Day 8: Departure – Transfer to Airport
