    3 days Sahara trip from Marrakech to Fes

    Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ouarzazate – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

    Early pick-up from Marrakech and a drive over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, with stops for the High Atlas scenery and Berber villages. Visit Ait Ben Haddou (UNESCO) and Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, with its Taourirt Kasbah.

    Continue through the Skoura palm grove and the Dades and Todra valleys to Merzouga. Ride a camel about 1.5 hours into the Erg Chebbi dunes, watch the sunset and try sandboarding, then reach camp for mint tea, dinner, Berber music and an overnight stay under the stars.

    Day 2: Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

    Watch sunrise over the dunes, then return by camel or 4×4 for breakfast. Drive back towards Marrakech with stops along the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest river, and across the Anti-Atlas.

    Stop for lunch near Ouarzazate, then cross the High Atlas to arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon or evening.
