Pick-up at 8:30 a.m. and cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) to Ouarzazate, visiting the Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Film Studios with a lunch stop.
Continue through the Valley of Roses and the Skoura palm grove to the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.
Drive to the Todra Gorge and walk beneath its 300 m canyon walls, then continue via Tinejdad and Erfoud to Merzouga.
Ride a camel about 1.5 hours into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset and optional sandboarding, then reach camp for mint tea, dinner, Berber music and an overnight stay under the stars.
