3 days Sahara trip from Marrakech to Fes

Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. Travel through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), with breathtaking views, Berber villages and scenic photo stops.

Continue to the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then drive through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to the stunning Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, head to the magnificent Todra Gorge, with canyon walls rising over 300 metres. Continue through desert towns and palm groves to Erfoud and Merzouga, where you begin a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Watch the sunset over the Sahara, then reach your luxury desert camp for a traditional dinner, Berber music around the campfire and a night under the stars.

Wake early for a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4 and travel towards Fes through the Ziz Valley and its palm groves, and the town of Midelt.

Cross the Middle Atlas cedar forests, where you may see Barbary macaques, and stop in Ifrane before arriving in Fes in the late afternoon, where the tour ends.
