Visit Meknes and Volubilis on a private day trip from Fez that takes you on a journey through Morocco’s long and varied history. As you tour Meknes, once the capital of Morocco, see sites like the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the monumental gates. OYour driver will pick up you from your accommodation in Casablanca at 8AM to start your day trip to Meknes and volubilis. Our first stop will be in Rabat, the royal capital of Morocco. If we have time we will visit the unfinished Hassan mosque and the old Kasbah Odaya. Then, we will continue our trip to Moulay driss and without a doubt, the panoramic view of the city from up on the hill is just worth seeing.

Next, we will arrive at Meknes around12h00. Here we will stop in a local restaurant for lunch, after lunch, you will the city tour with a professional guide, in order, to explore the ancient medina and visit the Monuments. After the city tour of Meknes we will drive to the old Roman ruins in Volubilis, backdate to the 3rd century BC and marked as a world heritage by UNESCO’s. No doubt, you will be amazed by its soaring arches and panoramic views of the surrounding. Finally, at 17h00 drive back to your hotel in Casablanca.
